What we did throughout the weeks |
Week 1 | In our first week we started off getting ideas together as a group. Not very much planning or developing happened in the first week. A little research into our own ideas so that we could discuss them further and come up with an idea which would be achievable as well as challenging. |
Week 2 | In week two we confirmed the idea of Diabetes, expanding further on the idea and finding what we want to focus on for our feature. We do more research on the topic as well as find about the producers view on the subject. In week to the producer also begins to contact possible interviewees for the feature. |
Week 3 | In week three we had a hand in for our proposal for our Radio feature, which contained our initial idea. Continuing with research and contacting interviewees with arranging times and locations. |

Week 5 | In week 5, we had presentation of what we had done so far, with feedback from tutors. Also second interviewee a midwife who deals with pregnancy and diabetes, Carolyn Walley. Began with editing and continuing with the multi-platform blog. Keeping in contact with our interviewees to make sure they still available to be interviewed. |
Week 6 | In week 6 we interviewed our third interviewee, A secretary for Diabetes UK. Continued editing audio from the previous interview and also the interview with the midwife. |
